Nailing your focus is often MORE important than exposure, as editing tools can usually help fix a shot that is not well exposed, but you can't do anything to fix a blurry shot! Join me for this two hour interactive online session as we explore all things focus related to help you create tack-sharp images.

In this workshop, you'll learn the basics of how to set yourself up for success in the field with the correct settings, how to focus to get sharp shots of both the stars and foreground, and how to create unique compositions. You'll then learn the key steps to editing your astrophotography images to create amazing results with a follow-up online session.

Join me for an evening at Raglan Beach to capture sunset seascapes and try out ICM (Intentional Camera Movement) which can create stunning abstract art. I'll be on hand to offer tips for camera settings and give you ideas on unique compositions on the beach and rocks as well as help you to practice the art of ICM. It's also an opportunity to try out ND filters and meet other local photographers.

Details: The Waikato is pretty as a picture during Cherry Blossom season, and there are some beautiful compositions to be shot during golden hour and sunset. Join me As this is a casual event, there won't be any formal teaching but I'll be on hand to give you tips on camera settings and help you find some unique compositions to show off this stunning time of year.
